My Journey
My family settled in Sacramento after a few early years of travel as a military family.
As a young adult, I was drawn to the vibrancy and eclectic nature of the midtown area. I spent over 15 yrs working in a variety of corporate positions for a local bottled water company. After a national merger, it was time for a new adventure...
I realized that whenever life’s stress was getting me down, it was my monthly massage that would renew my spirit. When I started training with an inline speed skating team, massage was the key for my muscle recovery and helping me achieve my goal of competing at Nationals. My activities now include running, cycling, inline skating, golf, tennis and whatever else looks like fun! My wife, Nikki, and I just completed our 1st Century (100 mi) bike ride. Nikki is the owner/trainer for Journey Fitness Personal Training
. She also works out of Figure 8 Womens Workout. Massage is always an integral part of my fitness and overall wellness.
It was now time for me to share the wonderful healing ability of massage with others. I started my education at Healing Arts Institute in Citrus Heights. I have continuously worked to improve my skills through continuing education at schools such as Massage Institute in Davis, Phillips School in Nevada City, and East West Massage School in Sonoma. Modalities studied include Shiatsu, Thai Table massage, Sports, Myofacial Bodywork, Reflexology, Soft Tissue Release, and Corporate Chair Massage.
